Just a thought...

The other day some professor said that Marc  Jacobs (the new creative director/designer for Louis Vuitton)  “prostituted” the  Louis Vuitton brand and label. I took offense. Bernard Arnault, CEO of the luxury conglomerate, LVMH, which includes Louis Vuitton, would have never hired Marc if he did not see any potential. I do understand her point though. I get that the new Louis Vuitton designs are over the top modern, not as classic and traditional as they use to be, but that does not change the fact his modern designs are fabulous.  And besides, isn’t that the point of fashion?....FASHION IS CHANGE.
